On this three day weekend, what adventures are you going to have? Take advantage of the last holiday in the summer heat before the leaves start to change and the cold comes in. Here are some simple suggestions:

1) Hit the water- Get your fishing rod, the boat, a picnic, and the family and head to a lake or ocean beach near you. It is one of the last weekends that it will be warm enough in most places,  get out there and live it up.

2) Find a trail- whether your area has mountains, hills, or is pancake flat- you can take the bikes, run, or walk. See the beautiful secenery and just relax.

3) Discover a new town- Spend time in the local areas surrounding your area. Many will have fun new restaurants and activities that will add variety to the holiday weekend.

4) Head to New York, NY- If you really want to be festive this labor day you can go to the annual Labor Day parade held in New York. The tradition started nearly 100 years ago when the first ever labor day parade was held. While in New York you can also enjoy Central Park, a Major League Baseball game, or a free Staten Island ferry ride.

Happy Labor Day Weekend!
